EuARE Annual Conference – Bologna, 5-8 Marzo 2018

EuARE-AIS

In occasione della EuARE Annual Conference organizzata dalla European Academy of Religions, la Sezione di Sociologia delle Religioni ha organizzato un workshop dal titolo “World of Religions. Meet the Religions of the World”.

WORLD OF RELIGIONS. MEET THE RELIGIONS OF THE WORLD

World of Religions. Meet the religions of the World is a workshop organized by Prof. Emanuela C. Del Re, National Coordinator of the Section of the Sociology of Religion, Italian Association of Sociology, in cooperation with Prof. Roberta Ricucci, University of Turin. The workshop is meant as the natural continuation of the homonymous event that took place in Rome in December 2017. Mondoreligioni is an exclusive and unique festival created by Emanuela C. Del Re that gathers in the same place different religious groups and communities providing information stands managed by the religious communities themselves, roundtables with experts, scholars, and representatives of the religions, presentation of books, documentaries and musical concerts and performances organized by the communities.
The workshop we propose is aimed at enhancing a deep understanding of the religions professed in Italy through the voices of the representatives of the religious communities who will share with the audience their experiences, challenges and vision for the future. The workshop will involve the participants in an interactive dialogue, with the main goal of raising awareness on the different religions in Italy, for a better coexistence in our multi-religious and multi-faiths society.
